Dear
Friends,
It
is with a heavy heart that we share news of the tragedy impacting the Salinas family.
The
Spectrum family mourns the devastating loss of Juan Salinas; beloved husband of
30 years to Maria Salinas who died
Friday after being hit by a drunk driver. Juan and brother Fernando were
hunting near Gilman, Wisconsin and were struck near Miller Avenue and County Line Road.
Juan died immediately and Fernando was taken to the hospital in critical
condition. Fernando is expected to be released from the hospital later this
week.
Juan
Salinas was the kind of man who offered everyone his friendship, compassion and
help without expecting anything in return. His great, big laugh was as
infectious as his smile and he truly loved sharing his time with his family,
friends and loved ones.
We
pray for Maria, Bethany (her niece who is also on the Benefits Team with
Spectrum) and the Salinas
family and ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Services will
be offered later this week and information can be accessed through the Honquest
website for anyone wishing to share their sympathies.
